For the second in the series of exhibitions we are hosting at our studio, we have invited the wonderful Sophie Rowan, having joined us regularly at our life drawing sessions, we have always been excited about the work being produced so we are thrilled to have Sophie show with us.
Sophie Rowan is an illustrator and recent graduate from the Glasgow School of Art. The Stage is a collection of paintings that stem from grainy concert videos and a fascination with how watching musicians for hours on end feels connected to the way a painter observes their sitter.
